Through forests covered in snow
Bordering to the taigas below
Where conifers withstand the cold
Graceful and centuries old
Here wails an ice-cold breeze
Through the forest trees
Through forests where leaves turn from the brightest green
In an autumnal scene
To yellow, auburn and red
Isn’t it a beautiful death?
The trees refill with life’s blood
And again the forest buds
And as the leaves absorb the sunlight
Intensive photosynthesis occurs
From chloroplasts the lifecycle recurs
Oxygen for life to breathe
Watch the vegetation wreathe
Through thickets and through swamps and…
Through forests where the dew drips from the leaves
The dense vegetation weaves
Frogs from the trees they dive
A proliferation of life
In the damp tropical heat
A million hearts beat
And as the leaves absorb the sunlight
Intensive photosynthesis occurs
From chloroplasts the lifecycle recurs
Oxygen for life to breathe
Watch the vegetation wreathe
Through thickets and through swamps and through forests

Bitter winds wail over the frostworlds
Inhospitable mountain tops
And palaces of frozen drops
Howling storms sweep over the frostworlds
A cold that makes the heart stop
Cursed be the seed of any crop
Another adventurer has dropped
Frost…frost...
Frostworlds
Ghastly silence over the frostworlds
Plains of ice, devoid of life
In winter’s darkness death is rife
And fiercely it rises on the frostworlds
The cutting wind, the freezing cold
And still they look for a foothold
Another adventurous wild story untold
Frost…frost…
Frostworlds
Frost...frost...
Don’t set foot on the frostworlds
And yet there is life all over the frostworlds
Shores and seas – a blooming food chain
And at the mountain sides remain
Valiant ones who inhabit the frostworlds
Habitats for those to claim
Who courageously endure life’s game
But not for those who think nature can be tamed…
Frost…frost…
Frostworlds
Frost…frost…
Don't set foot on the frostworlds
Frost…frost…
Those cursed, those damned frostworlds
Frost…frost…
Stay away from the frostworlds!

Oh, mercy, mercy me!
Oh, things ain't what they used to be
Where did all the blue skies go?
Poison is the wind that blows
From the North and South and East...
Oh, mercy, mercy me!
No, things ain't what they used to be
Oil wasted on the ocean and upon our seas
Fish full of mercury...
With tears in my eyes I watch our Mother Earth
Scourged and ravaged
Raped and ruined
Radiation underground and in the sky
Animals and birds who live nearby are dying...
Oh, mercy, mercy me!
Oh, things ain't what they used to be
What about this overcrowded land?
How much more abuse from man can she stand?
Where are we heading to?
When will it end?
How much longer?
How much longer before we open our eyes?

Here we stand like an Adam and an Eve
Waterfalls - the Garden of Eden
Two fools in love, so beautiful and strong
The birds in the trees are smiling upon them
From the age of the dinosaurs cars have run on gasoline
Where, where have they gone?
Now, it's nothing but flowers!
There was a factory, now there are mountains and rivers
We caught a rattlesnake, now we got something for dinner
There was a shopping mall, now it's all covered with flowers
If this is paradise I wish I had a lawnmower!
Years ago, I was an angry young man
And I'd pretend that I was a billboard
Standing tall by the side of the road
I fell in love with a beautiful highway
This used to be real estate, now it's only fields and trees
Where, where is the town?
Now, it's nothing but flowers!
The highways and cars were sacrificed for agriculture
I thought we'd start all over, but I guess I was wrong...
Once there were parking lots, now it's a peaceful oasis
This was a Pizza Hut, now it's all covered with daisies
I miss the honky tonks, Dairy Queens, and 7-Elevens
And as things fell apart, nobody paid much attention
I dream of cherry pies, candy bars, and chocolate chip cookies
We used to microwave, now we just eat nuts and berries
This was a discount store, now it's turned into a cornfield
Don't leave me stranded here, I can't get used to this lifestyle!
Welcome to the jungle...

Heifer whines could be human cries
Closer comes the screaming knife
This beautiful creature must die
This beautiful creature must die
A death for no reason
And death for no reason is murder
And the flesh you so fancifully fry
Is not succulent, tasty or kind
It's death for no reason
And death for no reason is murder
And the calf that you carve with a smile is murder
And the turkey you festively slice is murder
Do you know how animals die?
Kitchen aromas aren't very homely
It's not comforting, cheery or kind
It's sizzling blood and the unholy stench of murder!
It's not natural, normal or kind
The flesh you so fancifully fry
The meat in your mouth
As you savour the flavour of murder
Oh, oh, oh, it's murder
No, no, no, it's murder
And who hears when animals cry?

Savage heat is searing
Global warming has begun
Mother earth is reeling
No protection from the sun
Forest fires are raging
While the rivers turn to ice
Foolish man creating
Mother nature's cruel demise
Hailstorms, tornadoes
Cold spells, untimely frosts
Heat waves and blizzards
Global death's the cost
Face the end of time
As we plunge headlong towards the day
Can't deny the signs
When the sun burns red
The earth will turn
From blue to gray
Winter turns to summer
Then the seasons disappear
No one needs a prophet
To explain what's all too clear
Oceans overflowing
Islands drowning everywhere
Leaders wouldn't admit it
Now they're crying in despair
Hailstorms, tornadoes
Cold spells, untimely frosts
Heat waves and blizzards
Global death's the cost
Face the end of time
As we plunge headlong towards the day
Can't deny the signs
When the sun burns red
The earth will turn
From blue to gray
Now rain shall wash away the sad remains of man
Cities once so proud will crumble in sand
Buildings collapse when all is done and said
The guilty ones will die with the innocent
When the sun burns red
