Ashamed and dismayed I fall down to the ground…

I’m begging for mercy under the sullen gleam of the moon
Bitter, bitter…
The livid wind cuts the soul
The wounds will not heal, yet the bell of death will toll…
As stormclouds fill the sky
I do not shed one tear
The end is here…
The heavens are torn to pieces - a rain of fire descends
The dawn of the end has arrived: we will not transcend!
The final signs of human life, in horror fleeing away
Stricken by lightning, their screams of death, there will never be a new day…

Through the ruins shoots of green firmly proceed

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross!

Easily one of the best metal albums of the 2010s, which says something. Musically, it's like you've taken black metal, doom, and good old NWOBHM and thrown it into a blender for a while. More impressively, the lyrics to these songs are some of the most hauntingly beautiful and devastating I've ever heard. Case in point, Junta. Just listen to it.
